About
Steve Wilkerson was born and raised in Kemper County, Mississippi on his family's farm, where raising soybeans, cattle, and hogs taught him a thing or two about Mississippi mud. After 20 years of playing piano, guitar and organ in touring bands, he started getting serious about writing songs in 2008. His debut album, “Made in Mississippi”, is a journey through the mind and times of a native in the state that is the cradle of American music. He's been featured throughout the South, including the largest blues festival in the world, King Biscuit Blues Festival in Helena Arkansas. His full album is available on Itunes, Spotify, and anywhere you can find music online.
